Show him that and he might shoot a second load before you even get him home Zoe.
So I don’t want to make any promises but would you guys be interested in a reboot of I Love My Bully? I found myself doing some sketching of Jordan and Bailey and have an idea for a new “prequel” sort of arc the lead into where it started before. I still would eventually take it to a post apocalyptic setting because it isn’t simply a love story between a bully and her victim it is about Jordan rising up to be a leader among her classmates. I ended up ending the comic really early last time but it was going to show her change from a bully to class president and protecting her more wimpy classmates, eventually against a mad max like world
Any interest?
ILMB prequel? How about “Hell yeah!”
My viewpoint on these matters is that you should be doing what inspires you. If you are excited about a story that you want to tell, I encourage you to 1) take a bit of a deep dive into yourself and make sure you have true desire and the energy and then 2) if the answer is a solid “yes” then you should do it.
Personally, I may or may not like it. But that shouldn’t matter to you.
A separate but related topic: do you have goals and expectations for such a project? And, I mean beyond telling the story. You’ve expressed some disappointment in the success of Zoe (for example). Do you have a story to tell that you also want to be more successful? And, define “success” with a few benchmarks. If you have some tangible benchmarks, how do you envision shooting for them?
Maybe your benchmark is “I just want to tel the story.” If not, make sure to mention some of the things you want to accomplish and I’m sure a few of us may be able to provide useful feedback, even if they are bad ideas that set examples of what not to do, or methods you’re not interested in. That can help define what you want to do and what might be better ideas.
I know you’re pretty good about reading comments, but,
tl;dr – I’d certainly read it and most likely offer comments. Pretty sure I’d enjoy it, too. But, if I didn’t for some reason, I respect you enough to offer constructively critical comments as to why.
well I have a lot of stories I want to tell, and I don’t really love the fact that all I am doing is porn (I try to make something that hopefully has more value than just fap material but at the end of the day Zoe isn’t some great story I feel the need to tell) I want to do something a bit more ambitious and with more value to it but have been held back by my limitations as an artist. This past month I have been very unhappy with drawing porn and its been a chore meeting the deadlines with Zoe (and that is why the conception comic hasn’t updated). I explored some other things artistically and did my best to draw a serious horror comic page (and think the art ended up pretty good, but not to where I would see myself able to accomplish that comic…) But I think I might be up to the task of doing what I want to do with ILMB now. If I expand the story and bring in the elements I want to flesh out these characters with it would be at least a year of comics before I had to get into the more difficult stuff to draw and that would be a whole year more to develop my abilities…
The reason for ILMB being a possible project to pursue is because it ISN’T porn and it has a story that has a more significant character growth than just a girl satiating her desires like in Zoe. It isn’t Porn, but it is very fanservicy, enough that I think it would appeal to my audience in a way that some of my other stories may not.
Proper stories need an arc and growth as a character and Zoe isn’t really built that way, it has a barebones arc of a girl who wants it all and wants the boy, and those 2 things are in conflict… but that isn’t all that fulfilling as a writer. Telling stories is something I really want to do and I think as a story ILMB is by far the better idea.
The dynamic between bully and victim as they fall in love is only really the 1st part of the journey and I know many seemed turned off by the idea that the story would grow into something completely different but I think once they see it many will like it. At its core barebones ideas, it is about Jordan who is a bully and torments others having to step up and be a leader to those same people and protect them instead of hurt them. The story between Jordan and Bailey is just a step on that path and not the destination. This would be an adventure comic, not a slice of life comic and I think that is why people where confused by the tonal shift I suggested before.
In the end I picture the story being about a small civilization of schoolgirls building a settlement in the ruins of their old school and combating mutants and marauders that plague the outside world in a post nuclear wasteland. But again, that would be 1-2 years down the road because first it will start small with Jordan changing gradually from a bully to a leader from the love and support of Bailey.
So in conclusion… It won’t be porn but if a comic about a sexy busty lesbian schoolgirl leading her classmates against a hostile world sounds interesting, then I Love My Bully might be a comic you might like. I want it to have a lot of heart and humor but also be sexy.
Yes. All the Yes.
I very much would like to see where you can take that story.
Sure if you feel up to it.
Could be interesting
On the ILMB side, if you’ve got a story line now that you’re happy with then I’d say go for it. I understand your desire to make something other than porn; my only concern is that ILMB stopped so abruptly last time so I’d hope that it doesn’t suffer through another false start.
On the Zoe side, it’s more than a little disturbing that he just told her sorry he’s got a girlfriend and she just announces that he’s doing her tonight. He just came and saved her from her own stupidity but she won’t respect that he’s in another relationship (which he got into in part because she bailed out on him). She’s becoming less and less likeable as a character so maybe ILMB will make a pleasant diversion.
Zoe knows how this night is going to go, she also knows Damien will feel guilty for it. So she is saying that to tell him to prepare himself (and maybe formally break up with Rose even if through a text).
So maybe she shouldn’t be selfish and try to screw around with a guy who’s already told her he has a girlfriend now (since she blew him off). It’s also a bit hard to imagine him getting horny knowing she’s just been screwing around with a total stranger that he had to rescue her from.
If Zoe is fully aware of the impact her shitty behavior has and makes no effort to be less of a piece of shit, then she is the villain of the story and has earned whatever super-AIDS she gets.
Yes please. Was enjoying the story. Apocalypse is good.
Joly shit, Damien. She just almost got murdered by the first dude who sent her mom a dickpick because she liked his dick after fucking her own mom and uncle which she just admitted proudly and now after teasing for years wants to fuck you right after getting old man cream-pied. Get the fuck out of town and do not look back. She is dangerous and will get you killed.
Agreed. Why would you allow her to dictate the terms of what you’re going to do with her, especially after you’ve already told her that you already have a girlfriend? She’s done nothing but make piss-poor decisions. Also, from a health standpoint, since we already know she doesn’t bother with condoms, there’s no telling what she could have picked up from either Caleb or Mr. Dick Pic. I certainly wouldn’t be risking anything with her until I got a clean bill of health that she wasn’t carrying anything. A few minutes of pleasure wouldn’t be worth what he could wind up needing treatment for.
Channel your inner flock of seagulls and run, run so far away….
Yeah man, go for it. Bully, what little there was, wasn’t bad.
