This is a world that is suffering a huge fertility crisis (not quite Children of Men level) So she very much is of the mind that having kids is saving the human race, sorta logic. In her mind incest with her son is impure and wrong, but the good of making a baby far outweighs the bad of being in a relationship with her son. When I get around to redoing ch1 that is something I plan to really work on getting across a bit better.
Oof. “should of” really bugs me because that SOUNDS almost exactly like “should’ve” but so few people understand the use of contractions now… I know it’s a minor thing, and not everyone is annoyed by it, but I’m autistic, and my sense of humor is almost entirely based on homophones. (words that sound the sane, but mean different things)
I suck and grammar spelling and the like. so expect a lot of things that are probably wrong. I feel I am good at writing for flow, not for the technical side of writing.
